Serene, elegant, and beautiful. A red-crowned white crane is flanked by three salmon pink flowers, accented by silver gems and sparkling organza. Measuring approximately 5" x 4.5" (flowers are 1.5" in diameter), this kanzashi piece is mounted on a large alligator clip for easy wear.

Thank you! ^^ However my kanzashi is not origami - every petal is an individually-folded piece of fabric, all pasted together. You can find a more in-depth background of kanzashi in my journal! :D

Aww, thank you! :aww: I have to say though that this is not origami - tsumami kanzashi is made with fabric, not paper, and every petal is individually folded and pasted together to make the final product. It is frequently confused with origami, however, because kanzashi is still a relatively obscure art form! :floating:

..and I'm so sorry for calling it origami! I never heard of or even seen kanzashi before. I will tell you this though; it's a million times better than origami!
